I appreciate it's not the best picture sorry but these patches have popped up on my baby tonight, they are scaly and dry. She had one on her thigh a few days ago too which i can still feel but not really see anymore
Does this look like eczema ? She does have cmpa which is what's making me think it could be eczema

I don’t know sorry but bumping and watching as DD age 7 has has similar on her inner thighs for years (very itchy) and we cannot seem to get rid of it.

Looks like it to me. Have you tried any creams? Non bio washing powder and use way less. Cool cotton clothing. Moisturise straight after bath (within 3 mins of being dry). If that all fails and you've cut dairy already (as you say cmpa) then I would go to docs for mild hydrocortisone. Better to clear it sooner than let it grow

Also check your bath soap. Use something like green people without the crap and baby sensitive Averno. Although different kids work with different creams, no one fits all sadly. Trial and error.

@Morechocmorechoc thank you! I use aveeno for her bath but haven't been moisturising her after so will start doing that.
I only use fairy for the clothes, is this sensitive enough?
She is formula fed a prescribed formula now and she doesn't seem to react anymore ! This is a new thing that's only just started to show up, but I haven't changed anything recently which is why I'm thinking could it be related to the cmpa

My DD6 has something similar if not the same. She has sensitive and dry skin. Last week had dry red patches on face. I started moisturising with Aveeno and the patches cleared up.

Fairy works for mine but other say it's terrible. Like everything they all react differently. I'd half the amount you use though. How long ago did you cut the dairy, does take a while. You may find if you clear it with 0.5pc hydrocortisone then get into a good moisturising routine it stays gone if it's mild.

Thanks I'll try this. She does always have dry cheeks but I just thought it was the cold getting to her face

I've always used fairy so not sure it's that but will use less and see if this helps.
And we switched to the special formula at 8 weeks she's now 17 weeks so been a good while.

Use a non bio like fairy which might make a difference. Also, their cheeks get dry when they're teething. The best thing for dry cheeks is beoanthen.
Child's farm do a baby moisturiser which you can use from birth and is amazing, even for Eczema so try that, it has a little yellow duck on x
