Asda rewards

I've been using the Asda rewards app for a few months now and my cash pot is building nicely.

Does anyone know if the rewards and targets are targeted to your shopping habits? My spending target for January was about double the targets for October and November. Are they just going to keep going up and up? Also, some of the Star Products appear just after I've bought them 🤦🏻‍♀️

It won't change anything but I'm just curious.

I love this app, I had £65 that I used in my Christmas shop and I've already got another £20 since then

I had similar before Christmas and used it in my Christmas shopping.

What are your milestones like for this month? I do my weekly shop at Asda and my first target is a £60 spend and there are 10 targets. If I hit them all (not likely under normal circumstances and even more so in February) I'll add £20.

Mine are the same, first is £60

Yep, first milestone target is £60 for us.

I think it would be a little more user friendly if they gave an indication of each target straight off instead of only showing when you've achieved the previous one but I suppose that might be a little off putting.

I suspect with a £60 starting point the grand total might be £500+

Does anyone know, could you cash in your pot and use the reward voucher to buy an actual gift card? That way save the ££ until Christmas?

I do know the answer to this and it's "Yes - sort of"!

Cash in your rewards and create a voucher in the app and then buy shopping + gift card. As long as it comes to more than the app voucher you are good to go. I don't know if it can be used to pay for a gift card on its own though.

I'm planning to do this with an Asda Christmas savers card next time I shop in store.

This is partly what put me off the scheme. It seems so unnecessarily complicated and not rewarding enough to bother getting my head round.

I miss the good old days of the Tesco clubcard, they did some cracking deals.

I find it pretty good, just added up and Ive had £16 since November. We only use Asda for top ups though so don't get loads. I sometimes find that Ive scanned the app and it's come up on the screen but then when I check on my phone later my target hasn't changed?

I spend the voucher as soon as I get it eg on the next week's shop or sometimes I'll go round again straight away if I have time.

Cheers OP I'll going to do that also

PuttingDownRoots · 01/02/2023 11:54

I've had £60 since July. I just buy my normal stuff.

Wish it included fuel....

I shop online with Asda for my elderly inlaws and also have some deliveries myself. I have just shopped as normal and since October I have earned £67
