I want to give up my smartphone but how the hell do I navigate modern life without it?

I'm addicted and I'm sick of it.

I removed tiktok, I sit watching Facebook. And YouTube.

Im ignoring my kids to just scroll bollocks.

Am thinking of getting a basic £30 phone to stay contactable during the day.

But everything is online now. Accounts, banking, communication, WhatsApp etc.

Is it possible?

I have a limit of one hour a day for social media and my DD (18) has set the code ! It works well but I am spending more time on Mumsnet 🤯
I also do wordle everyday and the guardian crossword .

Perfectly do-able. I have a PAYG "dumb phone" that only does voice calls and text. I only use it for getting in touch with people.

Saves me a fortune.
