Not takeout. Really can’t be arsed.

Cacio e Pepe. Aglio e olio.

Arrrrrrragghhh · 27/01/2023 18:17

Wine. Kids have left home.

PrinnyPree · 27/01/2023 18:17

Filled pasta with tomato pesto.

Fried/scrambled Eggs and ham on toast

Boil macaroni, peas, sweetcorn, then mix in cream cheese, garlic powder and some ham.

(Are leftovers cheating) My toddler son left half his stirfry yesterday and I took it into work and stirred it into a instant noodle cup. (That was actually proper nice)

Basically anything that can just be chucked in the oven eg pizza, chips etc (with coleslaw so I can pretend its seen a vegetable)

N00bz · 27/01/2023 18:17

Tinned spaghetti lines or spaghetti hoops done in the microwave, with toast.

bluechameleon · 27/01/2023 18:20

Pasta and pesto with peas, or spaghetti carbonara (I have it with mushrooms because I don't eat meat).

Georgyporky · 27/01/2023 18:28

Scampi & chips/hash browns from the freezer, + something frozen & green.

My go-to meal when we get back from holiday.

CherryRipe1 · 27/01/2023 18:29

Student special. Tin of tuna, tinned mixed beans preferably with green french beans included, tin of chick peas, half a jar of Pataks curry paste of choice. Can add fried onion and cinnamon fried in the paste etc if cba. Cobble together & heat. Wash rice, pour boiling water on it so just covered & microwave for 8-10 mins. Serve with plain yoghurt.

GETTINGLIKEMYMOTHER · 27/01/2023 18:30

Tin of tuna, drained and flaked, added to a tin of Campbell’s condensed mushroom soup (undiluted, heated up) all mixed with cooked pasta, served with frozen peas.
(memo to self, must remember to buy more of that soup.)

PeachesPudding · 27/01/2023 18:31

Salmon fillet (12 mins at 180c) and steamed broccoli (8 mins)

Slothsandspiderman · 27/01/2023 18:35

Dairy milk and gin 😀😀

bookworm14 · 27/01/2023 18:38

Mix a bit of soy sauce, sesame oil, chilli oil, garlic and ginger in a bowl. Cook some noodles (rice or egg noodles fine). Steam some greens (Pak Choi works well). Put noodles and greens in a bowl. Fry an egg and put on top. Pour over sauce.

BarrelOfOtters · 27/01/2023 18:45

Some of these are definitely tea rather than CBA tea….

The usual widely varying interpretations of 'can't be arsed' 😂

Some of these are better than my most effortful cookery!

BeyondMyWits · 27/01/2023 18:50

Just had guilty pleasure cheesy chips... whenever we have fish and chips we get large chips. Half get frozen and go in a bag in the freezer, for nights such as this.

Tray, chips, cheese, oven 200C for 10 -15 min. M and S garlic mayo over the top.

OneAndDon3 · 27/01/2023 18:52

Gin and tonic

I felt slightly embarrassed reading some, but then realised I shouldn't - I know what 'can't be arsed' means, the multi-pan dinner people obviously think it means something else.

DealOrNoelsDeal · 27/01/2023 19:03

Nice bread and butter. Keep a load in the freezer for just such an occasion

Trinity69 · 27/01/2023 19:04

Cereal!!
