Caribbean holiday - suggestions?

Please could anyone advise on a good location for sun, sea and culture in April? Looking online and there’s so much choice, any recommendations…? Need some ☀️

That's not true. I went to Cuba in 2019 and then went to the USA in January 2020 with absolutely no issue at all. Unless it's changed in the last couple of years.

Just because you went in 2020 doesn't mean things don't change in 2 years. Google is your friend!

Yes, want to avoid Cuba for that reason. Don’t need kids club, it’s just me and my partner going. Maybe the request for culture should have been phrased purely as “we don’t want to only stay in a big resort”…

Barbados?

It's a beautiful island, but also lots of other places to visit apart from beaches/bars

We loved Trinidad and Tobago - beautiful beaches and food, scarlet Ibis, mangrove trips and historic houses to visit. Less touristy than Barbados, Jamaica etc.

We booked through a company called Expressions, they had some lovely boutique hotels in the Caribbean
They maybe worth a look?
