Anyone had a Moneycorp Red Explorer card? What now?

I had a Moneycorp Explorer card, it was great because I could load it with Euros/Dollars/Whatever before my holiday, and use it abroad like a Debit card.

It's now defunct.

What can I apply for instead? Needs to be easy to use/load but not necessarily via an App.

I've looked at Monzo, Currensea, Revolut - any recommendations?

We usually use a Post Office travel money card. However I recently discovered when travelling to Morocco (where I can't use the PO card) that Starling bank do fee free foreign payments, so will probably just stick to that in future.

I have a revolt card, easy to use, load it up and convert to whatever currency I need that day.

Thanks - @jay55 I assume you mean Revolut? I'll take a look again at that

Revolut is better than monzo in my opinion, but monzo is easier to get the hang of. You can store currency in a wallet in revolut and saves a lot of money

I've had a look at Revolut (doesn't seem to be in the 'top ten' of cards Hmm) and Monzo, but been most impressed with Chase (except it's App only and I don't want that), Currensea and Starling.

THe advantage of Currensea is that it is attached to my existing bank account, so no need to transfer money about. Starling (other than that) seems good.
