The first time I did the rainbow I didn't realise you had to drag the letters down and was trying to rearrange them on the rainbow and they kept jumping back 🙈

I did the same on both lines 3 and 4 yesterday as I was so frustrated by 5.30pm!

I ended up with COUDE on line 3 and BLUDE on line 4.

@Peridot1 I thought of trying Blude yesterday but thought I'd made the word up 😂

Now I look it's a Scottish word relating to blood. Who knew?! 🤷🏻‍♀️

The rainbow thing just reinforces my decision not to do any more games apart from Wordle. I could see today's solution in seconds, but can I work out how to drag the letters into place? Can I fuck.

@DahliaMacNamara just keep your finger on a letter and drag

I suppose I had come across it in ’Sir Patrick Spens’ but I think if I’d tried it I might be a bit annoyed that it was actually accepted (like coala). There are obviously lots of words it accepts that are never going to be the answer.

If you like anagram type puzzles you might like waffle

A grid of 6x 5 letter words. All letters are on the grid to start and you swap letters by sliding one to new position. Green indicates right letter in right place, yellow indicates right letter in wrong place (nb can be tricky when on a junction because it might be either the horizontal or the vertical word).
All puzzles can be solved in a minimum of 10 moves and you get a maximum of 15.
I'm not good with countdowns so prefer having a number of moves to beat rather than a clock 😄

@NoNameNowAgain Coala was the other word I wanted to ask about,

It's good to learn new words at least ☺️

But Coala is just an alternative spelling that nobody uses. I suppose it might be useful in some other word game…

Oh yeah! I'd forgotten about waffle. I used to do that one too but haven't for months and I can't remember why I stopped 🤔😆

🤣 that's the kind of impact wordling has had on my mental functioning

I do Waffle (and the deluxe one on Mondays!), Wordle, Plusword and the Rescue & Sequence versions of Octordle.

Oh, and Xordle which resets at 11pm
