Good Morning All! What's everyone up to today?

I'm just about to go and get dressed to walk down to the little Asda for a top up shop. I've caught dd2's cold so been sat feeling sorry for myself for a while 🙄

When I get back there's a mountain of pots to wash, school shirts to iron and the kitchen generally needs a re-set.

I have a couple of small things to do for work, and Rainbows and Guides on Tuesday, and want to take off last week's nails too.

Both girls were planning a chilled day I think - homework's up to date so they can do as they please so long as they help cook tea.

We're having pork loin steaks with salad and garlic roast spuds 😋

Tonight, I'll either re-paint my nails, do another round of my blanket, or read my book...then have an early night 💤

I had a lie in this morning, with an audio book playing, then got up and did the kitchen, prepped veg ready for this evening, did some laundry and flattened some cardboard boxes for the bin men tomorrow.
That's all there was time for, before the Snooker final.
How boring is that.
I'd prefer to say that I rose early to watch the sunrise, had a breakfast of oysters, truffles, quail's eggs and champagne, with a live chamber orchestra playing Bach, followed by a gallop along the shoreline on my unicorn, ending up at a private jetty, where we had cocktails and a caviar lunch aboard a golden galleon, with gallant and gorgeous pirates hosting.
Then the Snooker final. 😀

DH is a bit 🙄 but tolerating it fairly well!
