Thinking of booking a solo trip to Copenhagen, I know very little about it but it looks a lovely place.
any must see places to see or areas to stay in as a solo traveller?
Thanks

We went in October, it was brilliant but expensive. Tivilli gardens is magical. The copenhagen cards were really good value for us but we were there with kids, they allow free entry to loads of places, so we were able to go places for a short visit, which we wouldn't have done if we were paying individually.
It felt a really safe city.

It really depends what sort of things you enjoy, and how long you are going for.
Tivoli gardens is lovely. Check their website - there are a few short times each year that it's closed.
The National Museum of Denmark, Amalienborg and Christiansborg all worth seeing.
Nyhavn is a beautiful little harbour, you'll have probably seen photos of it if you've been researching.
The little mermaid statue, a lot of people say it's disappointing but I quite like her.
Outside of Copenhagen, east day trips to Odense, Roskilde, Helsingor are all great.

I've been to Copenhagen (and the rest of Denmark) a lot, I know it well, sometimes as a solo traveller and sometimes with others. I've always felt completely comfortable alone there. It's an easy country to be in.

Stay in Malmo and train in. Much cheaper than staying In Copenhagen itself (hotel, food drinks) for example a beer in Copenhagen is about €8 last time I went and in Malmo it was €4.

We enjoyed doing it as a dual centre and the savings were massive.

if you like aquariums check out Copenhagens. We fed hammerhead sharks there before covid.

Kristiania (I think it's called) is the hippy commune place that is worth a visit. Culturally famous and interesting to take a walk around!

I mean Christiania

I was going to say Christiania too!

Consider hiring a bike to get around, very quick and convenient. I am one of those people who found the Little Mermaid statue very underwhelming and not worth the cycle ride out to it. I also found the Tivoli Gardens a bit underwhelming - watched some short ballets and a light show which was fun but didn't really feel worth it - it also got very cold at night.

The Torvehallern food hall was a highlight for me.

Me again sorry but any recommendations for some nice fine dining that we could book in advance Thankyou

Connection by Alan Bate's was unbelievable and as a single traveller would work really well.
For an amazing bike tour do Bike with Mike ....
