Is anyone passing through London Bridge train station today?

... and has 2 minutes spare to do a favour for a stranger?

My husband will be commuting to London Bridge and we are looking at moving soon, but, don't know what our options are for train stations with a straight connection to LB.

If anyone is so inclined I would be very grateful if someone could take pictures of the electronic boards which show where the different stops are on different tracks coming out of London. (Not tube)

Thank you 🙏

Apologies I’m not commuting today but if you can get the national rail app, you can see all the trains coming through the rail station (under live trains). The code for the station is LBG.

It should look like this.

Is anyone passing through London Bridge train station today?
saraclara · 18/01/2023 09:00

Your need sometime to take multiple pictures of boards on all platforms if you want to know every station swerved from LB and not just every final destination. That's a massive ask.

Needmorelego · 18/01/2023 09:00

The train companies that use London Bridge are Thameslink, Southeastern Trains and Southern Trains.
It might be easier to look at their websites/route maps.
There are 100s of places you could commute from to London Bridge from up to places like Cambridge to down to places like Brighton.
It would cover a big area.

squashyhat · 18/01/2023 09:02

Oh dear. Looks like there's a peanut on the track on my line. Glad I'm not suffering the daily Southern trains torture any more.Grin

graphitepemcik · 18/01/2023 09:03

Thanks for the app suggestion, will take a look :)

Then don't do it?

Here's the link to download the Thameslink route map which shows the stations served via London bridge

I won't. But I've taken time to help you in another way. See above.

What I was pointing out is that the two minutes that you seemed to think it would take, isn't feasible.

TheOGCCL · 18/01/2023 09:05

I’d just use the network map of the relevant train companies eg www.southeasternrailway.co.uk/-/media/goahead/southeastern/documents/network-map/southeastern-network-map.pdf

You’d also want to look at the timetables since one train on a board doesn’t necessarily mean regular trains at the time you need them, also some trains will be fast and stop at fewer stations.

Yes. I'm kind of wishing that I hadn't taken the time to provide OP with the information she needed, now.

Needmorelego · 18/01/2023 09:07

@graphitepemcik saraclara was trying to help. There are 15 platforms at London Bridge. It's a lot of information boards to a LOT of places. Sometimes and individual board will have 2 pages of destinations listed. It's not an easy task.

Cordeliathecat · 18/01/2023 09:17

www.thetrainline.com/live/departures/london-bridge

if you click on any of the trains it will show you the stops

When we were doing the same we looked online... But

There is a board at London Bridge with a load of the destinations showing "Next train to X destination" showing the time and platform, which might be what the OP means. Theres one I think above the shop between Greggs and Leon, somewhere around there. I've not seen similar online

Ladybug14 · 18/01/2023 09:28

Good god. Attitude, OP !

Glitteratitar · 18/01/2023 09:36

This information is easily available on the National Rail website and app…your husband can easily find it out rather than finding someone else to do it for him.

Not all stations are on that board.

Zingy123 · 18/01/2023 09:49

@graphitepemcik so rude.

Sparkletastic · 18/01/2023 09:50

Such an odd way to go about it Confused

Skinnermarink · 18/01/2023 09:54

Yes I am, but I’ll be on my way to work and that is not a two minute job, more like 15-20.

Ifailed · 18/01/2023 10:08

Here's a map of all stations in SE England. You can easily work out which ones have a direct connection to London Bridge. For the London area, consult TfL.
