Healthy snacks 7 year old can help themselves to

Other than fruit?
We've just set up the old Ikea play kitchen as a 'help yourself' snack and drink area. I wanted to teach DS a bit of independence and about moderation, but all the snack kids food in the shops seem to be essentially junk and I've noticed a downturn in his behaviour since we started this.
Anybody got any ideas?

Soreen lunchbox loaves
Little pots of fruit in jelly
Mini pots of custard (can be kept at room temp)
Boxes of raisins
Packets of dried apricots
Rice cakes

Chopped veggies, pita/mini pitas and hummas or tzatziki for dipping.
Chop up left over chicken and grapes and add some mayo for chicken salad to stuff into pitas.
Make some simple sandwiches like cream cheese and cucumber, pb&j, pb/banana, Nutella/strawberries or banana and cut into little pieces for bite/2-bite sizes. Lately I've been doing almond butter on brioche or challah for a change.
