17 month age gap. Need pram recommendations

So I need a double pram that will be suitable for a newborn + a 17 month old.

I prefer the side by side ones, rather than the other design where one baby is on the bottom.
I do a lot of walking, as I don't drive, so I'm wanting something easier to push than can handle some 'off road' type walks.

For my eldest I had an icklebubba stomp v3 until he was 6 months, a cosatto pushchair caught my eye and I bought that and have used that since as it's easier to clean and I pushes well anywhere 🤣

Just want recommendations!

I have the Joie Aire Twin (mine are 15 mths apart) and highly recommend. Both seats lay flat so suitable from birth, too... But I wouldn't say its a great drive off road.

My friend bought a double Out n About secondhand and loves it, and that seems a bit sturdier on different terrains.

Agree with sborber on the Joie Aire. It’s fine as doubles go (I like how flat the seats lay, it’s light, I can fling it open and collapse it with one hand), but not great off-road. I use my uppababy vista on bumpy terrain but that’s a double decker as opposed to side by side. Also can’t comfortably fit in my front door… so my advice would be to measure you front door and then check the width of whatever you buy. Babies often left sleeping on the doorstep (don’t worry, I’ve got a big enclosed front garden).

I love our bugaboo donkey duo. it is big, but its great.

Another vote for the bugaboo donkey. So easy to push/ manoeuvre/ run with.

If needed to get through a tight door, I used to pop one seat out, make it into a single, and then turn it back into a duo again and reattach the other seat once through, but that was rarely needed.
