After some naice bedding

To set the bar, I normally buy dunelm.

I'm in a shit job and bed is currently a sanctuary. I want to enjoy it! I don't have a fortune to spend, but prepared to pay more than a typical dunelm set. I've been looking into Egyptian cotton sheets but don't know where to start.

Must be available in superking size. Colour is not important as we are redecorating soon.... does anyone have any recommendations?

I have the John Lewis seersucker one recommended upthread in our spare room and I really like it. It tumble dries and doesn’t need or benefit from ironing.

I think Dorma are great for bedding (available in Dunelm), but I’ve had Sheridan Australia (bought in the Uk) in the past too in the sale and it has been beautiful.

Another vote for Sheridan because they seem to be the only brand that does the type of duvet covers I want, which is 300 thread count, but bright colours, I don't want plain white like what everyone else seems to prefer.

They have good sales so if you're flexible about the design/colour, the price isn't too terrifying.

Personally I'd go for linen rather than cotton if you want really nice bedding.
I get mine from soak & sleep - they do have a superb cotton range though if that's what you'd prefer.

With regards to The ' secret linen' place mentioned above, I tried them too, but I found that to be the worst linen bedding I have ever bought in my life! Such a waste of money 😫 because I'd washed it before using so obviously couldn't return it. It was so rough and nasty.
