Robbie Williams, irritating attention seeking ‘oh look at me I’m so cute’ - no you’re a 50 year old man, stop it.

Always found him annoying back in the 90s, he grates my nerves.

Kate middleton, I just don't get it? Cries of "I love her", no you love the act she puts on in public (that she has to, not out of choice), she can afford to pay people lots of money to make her look good and spend thousands on outfits, so she always looks "beautiful".

You don't love her, you literally have no idea what she's really like, besides this she is just an unemployed rich woman living off other people's wealth, whether it be her husband's family or her parents, nothing to aspire to or love. It makes me feel sick the fawning people do over her.

Remember before Meghan came on the scene, people were so critical of her. She missed the Irish Guards ceremony in St Patrick's Day one year to apparently get her hair done, and she was torn to shreds. Then Meghan comes along and suddenly she's the darling of the Press.

I remember reading how she had fois gras at a restaurant with Camilla in the early days....I thought that was pretty unforgivable.

They contradict themselves often, there's plenty of evidence of all of their contradictions. Continously pleading poverty and to be honest most of their recipes are 14 bulbs of garlic with a tin of tomatoes & beans.

Also John Torode and to a lesser extent Lisa - I'll admit to watching their cooking show just to judge John's patronising comments to his wife.

I'd have stuck a fork in his hand before now.

Tom Hanks. He just seems too good to be true. I’m waiting for him to die and then everything bad come out the woodwork because people won’t say anything while he’s alive. He strikes me as very powerful in Hollywood circuits.

There are some rumours online...he was accused of abuse by a young man who later completed suicide. IIRC Hanks then put a picture he took online, of a location very close to the place the young man took his life.

I recall her as a halfway decent actress at one time. I've no idea of the point of talent shows - they're indescribably tedious - but far as actors are concerned it's work, and that profession is notoriously precarious. It's certainly resulted in an enhanced media profile for her, whatever that's worth.

But dare to criticise on Twitter and her mob of sycophants soon descend on your head! I made a comment about her recipes once and oh my goodness.....you'd think I had threatened to rip her heart out or something! Her disciples went mad at me. It was weird and scary, like a cult.

They're just people earning a living, same as the rest of us but in a far more superficial environment than most. 'Celebrity' tends to be very short-lived for all but the highest-profile entertainers, and sometimes even then.

Earning a living is primarily self-serving when you think about it. Whenever you successfully apply for a new job, funding, competitive grants, or promotion, you're taking an opportunity someone else might have had. And - I freely admit to this myself - success and recognition in our chosen professions is something people crave.

'Fame' is my very idea of horror. The appeal of having your face recognisable by everyone you meet in the street completely escapes me.
