I came on this thread for a pick me up and whilst they are ALL gorgeous, this one made me smile. My toddler who is having a nosey said it's a gerbil (failing to see the resemblance myself).

My boy, I’m always telling him that he’s my favourite in the family. He’s 11, diabetic and lost his sight due to cataracts a year ago, not being able to see made him so depressed. He had the cataracts removed last Spring and is back to his happy, lively self.
This was taken last Summer, after his eye surgery.

I think posting dog pics will be too outing as no doubt someone will recognise my dog so il have to name change first before I post mine but I am loving this thread. lovely dog pics, definitely cheers a miserable wet January day up. we need a cat pics version next.
