Yes it’s obvious that an old and infirm or disabled person lived there. But, they were able to use the stairs and I think once upon a time that house was well looked after and quite lovely. I’ve seen a lot worse.
It makes me sad to see how little space the owner used by the end, how small their world had become. That’s a bog standard 3 bed semi and you can practically see the path in the kitchen, the armchair that was sat in, the bits of the bathroom that were used, the bedroom that was slept in. Somebody did care though. Bleach in the bathroom, a functioning microwave, matching pillowcases and a proper duvet and mattress.
It comes to us all, in the end.
