WHSMITHS - who is buying from them? Anything other than a emergency magazine for the train and maybe a bottle of water? But some of their stores are HUGE!

FAT FACE - always a massive sale on!

"Perfume I often blind buy if it sounds right"

I'm shocked by this. It takes me months to decide to buy a perfume after extensive testing, given the price.

I have a huge collection of perfume. I'm especially likely to blind buy from a perfume house I especially like. Otherwise if the notes fit the criteria that will also do.

I also buy tester sets from various places.

I have a perfume subscription. I never know what I'm going to get until it arrives. I give away anything I don't like, and it's nice to try something different.

I like Dior Addict and Diorissimo. They each cost about £80 for a 50ml bottle. I have plenty of money. I still wouldn’t blind buy £80-worth of perfume on a monthly subscription!

Each to their own. I only spend around £40 a month in any case.

I wouldn’t risk unknown perfumes on a subscription. I love perfume but so much that others rave about smells awful on me, for example: Chance and Black Orchid.

Anyway I deeply miss my local House of Fraser. The perfume counters used to lighten my day on a Saturday afternoon.

Don't diss Peacocks! My DD has sensory issues with clothing and only Peacocks do lovely soft nighties (she won't wear PJ's) She practically lives in them on weekends.
They do other nice clothes too but for kids with sensory issues are very good.
