I want a Finnish bidet shower

Just returned from Finland and I love feeling properly fresh down below.DH thinks they would freak guests out, so I just have to stick to our ensuite fir now.
Would you find one weird and off putting on an English home?

I'd love one. It strikes me it would be handy for all those MNers who detest loo brushes as well.

These are amazing. A cheaper a simpler alternative is the lota jug from and Asian supermarket or a water bottle with a squirty top.

thank you for the link, but that website is hopeless. I can't find any actual facts on it. I'm mostly interested in the heated seated & just a bit in the washing function.

Does it heat the water itself (like a washing machine) or do you have to wait for the hot water from the main supply?

It comes out warm, like you’d get from a mixer tap. I think you can set the perfect temps and the force of the water jet (plus a pulsing option I have never tried).

That Japanese toilet looks like living the dream!

I have one and love it. Also has a high pressure setting that’s great to clean the loo with or even to rinse out kitchen bin etc

We call them bum guns in SE Asia. Many people have urinals in home toilets to stop the male people weeing on the seat! Japanese toilets are common in shopping malls. I am always a bit fearful of pressing the wrong button...
