Parenting book - 11 year old with face like a smacked @rse

Help! We're heading for the next phase of parenting. 11 year old daughter, no periods, is becoming hormonal. Rude. Sullen. Sulky. Non communicative.

I'm actually finding it quite triggering harking back to my relationship with my mother.

Anyway, I need some help/advice. Can anyone recommend a book for parenting tweens and onwards?

Strong boundaries, lots of empathy and love etc but definitely don’t let her take the piss too much. Accept that not every day is going to be harmonious but they’ll be good days too.

I have a wonderful 11 year old daughter who is often quite moody, but also absolutely lovely and very funny too. I wouldn’t change a hair on her head, as I am sure you wouldn’t either.

How about looking at 'the book you wish your parents had read'. Supposed to be really good for realising how you've been wired. It's on my shelf telling me to read it!
