I would second Christmas Carole. Put it on whilst ironing and actually really enjoyed it.

His dark materials on iplayer surprisingly gripping given you know how it ends and bee-yoo-tifully imagined.

It depends on your taste. I love fantasy stuff so my recent faves are;
Alice in Borderland on Netflix (season 2 dropped just before xmas)
The Peripheral on Prime

Treason on Netflix. Just finished episode 3 and debating staying up to watch the last 2 as enjoying it so much. Have to log on for work at 9am so thinking about sliding out of bed at 8.50 and starting off in pjs if I stay up!

Really enjoyed Hidden series, with Sian Reese Wiiliams as DI Cadi John, 3 seasons.
