That sounds wonderful. I worked for a company where our training was in another city. I’d get booked into a Premier Inn and have the most amazing peaceful time. Enjoy!

This sounds brilliant. And Premier Inn is an excellent choice - warm, safe, quiet. I stayed in an old independent hotel on my own recently and it was horrifying - spooky, not terribly clean and with a rickety lock on the door. But mostly it was just really, really spooky. I sat up all night watching Escape to the Country with all the lights on. I looked like The Scream by the morning. It was supposed to be a relaxing night away.

Good morning!
I slept like a log! Nodded off about 1am, and woke up an hour ago.

It's such a luxury to be able to wake up when you want to, rather than being disturbed by snoring DH or a bored cat.

First course of my Premier Inn brekkie.

Premier Inn Plus is a work of genius. Genuine luxurious feel at only £20 ish more than an ordinary PI.

Scrambled eggs, mushrooms, tomato, hash brown and bacon.
Now back in bed with a cuppa and the TV on.

I could bloody live in a Premier Inn or a Hilton Hampton (free breakfast, often tiny bit cheaper than PI depending on when you book)
