Which package tour operators would you trust to book with?

We are booking a honeymoon for next year. We never go away mainly due to cost and a child with additional needs but we are finally going to go abroad but unsure of which tour operator to book with.
We have seen a few holidays on Expedia but the reviews on trust pilot are shocking.
So in the current climate which tour operators would you trust?
Are we best to stay away from Expedia and Love Holiday which are much cheaper than Thomas cook etc?

Any ones people would recommend? Thanks

Any that are actually selling you a package so virgin holidays, tui, jet2 so it is ATOL protected. Easier. If anything changes because it is only one company to deal with.

Also pay on credit card even if it costs more so you have section something cover

Trailfinders were fab with covid, and all monies are held in trust rather than in their accounts which is quite unique. At the luxury end Carrier are absolutely brilliant. Anyone atol bonded will give you enough protection, but those two are the stand outs for me in terms of trustworthiness and minimal hassle.

I always use Tui or Jet2, have never had any issues.

I only ever book direct - first with the airline, then with the hotel itself (or booking . com who have an amazing 24/7 customer service dept and have always solved issues for me when I’ve been left stranded with no accommodation in the middle of Serbia for example).

We had our first package holiday with Jet 2 recently and have no complaints.

Jet2 were great for our first big post covid holiday this year.

I've found TUI good, even when things go wrong (with travel things can beyond their control) they looked after us, it's a true package so if for instance (happened to my friend) their return flight was delayed by 2 days due to weather, they had 2 days extra holidays ai!

YY to Trailfinders.
We had booked to go away with them in April 2020. Just as we were getting worried about wether to go (before actual lockdown) thru cancelled. We got every penny back, no quibble, a month later, on the day they had a told us. As PP, thru hold their customers' money in trust.

Look for ATOL protection (and read the small print, some TOs promote ATOL but then you'll find it doesn't apply to certain products).
