Weird shit on YouTube Ninja Kids

my Kids are getting to the age where they are watching more YouTube. I’m seeing so many concerning videos. Obviously there the overtly concerning videos, but even on YouTube kids, on the videos designed for children, some of the content is plain weird.

my daughter was watching Ninja kids this morning (a family of gymnasts that make family films at home). The video was the family doing eliminations of girls to find a girlfriend for their oldest son. Elimination rounds included giving a massage, doing the splits and bouncing on the trampoline!! Talk about sexualisation out in then open.

Also the high number of family creating content using their children is so concerning to me.

Has anyone else watched ninja kids. Do you find it weird too?

Absolutely agree. I've banned my daughter from watching it. So gross.

Ninja Master, there will always be haters. You can't please everyone. I have watched the videos with my grandchildren and I think they are great. The videos have inspired my little ones to do gymnastics. dance and do outdoor activities.
It seems to me that your kids absolutely are respectful. Kind and happy !
I hope you continue to do videos, my grandchildren really like them!

Just stop your kids from watching YouTube.
Everything on there is shit, the staccato hypnotic way they all speak, the nonsense they think up for content, the algorithm that serves you up the next video before you’ve digested the one you’re watching, the destruction of attention spans. Just get rid of it. You will absolutely see a difference in your kids’ behaviour. Let them game (which is active) or watch decent programmes on Disney Plus, Netflix etc, but just get rid of YT. I have and my kids’ behaviour and what they choose to do in their spare time has transformed.

There is too much good content on YouTube to block it completely. I use Channel Lab iOS to let them watch only the channels I approve.

Just recently came across these. Weirdest thing EVER. The kids are clearly autistic and this is exploitation.
