What's the best way to do a lot of washing?

I have a washer/drier and 2 airers.

Should I A, wash in machine, part dry, then hang

B, wash and completely dry in machine

Or c, wash then hang on driers

There is a LOT of washing to get through

Thanks!

I also have a washer-dryer.
Some stuff I prefer to air dry, like kids clothes. Towels and bedding I tend to part dry then hang up to finish, so I’d do the first load of stuff that can go straight onto the airer then wash the stuff that needs to use the dryer after.

How much washing and how much time?

Get a load on right now while you’re working it out.

C. Go to the local laundrette with some/all of it and get a service wash. The washing machines and tumble dryers are so much bigger than domestic ones.

If I have lots of washing to do I separate the lot into piles. Whites and colours and delicates. I only do small amounts so I can dry them easier. I also like to hand wash and then quickly rinse in the machine.
Some items can be placed onto hangers and dried on the curtain rails upstairs.
Only do small amounts often is the key and then you are not bogged down with loads of stuff to dry.

The dryer on a washer dryer takes ages unless the loads are tiny so I would focus on getting everything washed first.

Assuming there’s no particular items need priority for wearing tomorrow or something I would start by washing and hanging everything that doesn’t go in the dryer or will dry ok on an airer, then while that’s drying I’d wash and dry in the machine things that I do prefer tumbled, like towels. Key thing though is just to get on with it and start somewhere.

Alternatively, the laundrette suggestion is a good one especially if you have limited space/damp issues.
