Ugh I think this means it's likely I will get covid over Xmas which will be super fun with a 1yr old and 3yr old :(

I feel sorry for dad and mum as they were due to host a party today for 25 folk which is obviously cancelled now but they had all food and drink bought.
I'm also worried now about my 87yr old gran who was in the car with us.
But at least they were all boostered recently. It's just me that was boostered a year ago.
And if I have it, it's likely my kids will have it so I'll need to keep them off nursery and so now there's no children time to build their presents.
Argh what a mess.

I spent 4 hours in the car with my whole family the day before I tested positive, the only one that got it (5 days after I tested positive so probably not from the car journey) was my DH. My parents were completely unaffected

@healthadvice123 i did a click & collect when I had covid as it was the only way I could get food! Ours is in the car park though and they just leave the crates for you to unload. I wore a mask and kept my distance from the delivery guy.

I tested positive today and the last time I was out in public was Friday at the pub! Someone I was with but not that close too for a long time also tested positive.
Was supposed to be going to stay with family tomorrow so that is off.
No appetite and feel very off with a heavy cold and no appetite at all. Christmas meal could be interesting!

So sorry I seem to have missed your comment.
How are you feeling now?

Thats ok i spent the last 4 days basically just asleep it really knocked me off my feet. But weirdly today I've tested negative and I feel bit better. Im still suffering but definitely getting better

TitaniasAss · 21/12/2022 20:50

I spent an entire day in a tiny office with someone coughing and spluttering away insisting they just had a cold and had tested. Messaged me that night to say that they had just tested and was positive. They hadn't tested previously, they just said they had. I didn't get it.

@emmathedilemma yes ours in the car park now so will do that

Hungrycaterpillarsmummy · 24/12/2022 15:50

So as expected I have now tested positive and so has my gran. :( I feel so sorry for her because she now can't visit my grandad in his care home or go out for Xmas lunch with my aunt and uncle :(

We are both very similar, not feeling 100% but not feeling unwell really.

My one yr old had a fever all night and is not good today so I guess he has it too
