Mainly what's your body telling you? You say you feel better with it than without, so that's good to listen to.

I think that's fine. It's about half of my breakfast (I also have greek yoghurt with berries simmered in maple syrup which might also be an option for you if you can't cope with complex carbs first thing) but I'm always starving in the morning and go swimming so need energy for that. You can have something else more filling a couple of hours later ( I have a substantial mid morning snack then a big lunch).

Oh sorry for myself

been struggling with stress/anxiety and been struggling a bit with food

never used to eat breakfast
bit olive found it helps calm the sickness feeling a bit

but it’s trying to find things that are quick and easy that I can get down

In that case, yes a banana and a glass of milk sounds like it's better than not eating, especially if you know that it makes you feel a bit better in the morning. And if you will eat it, it will give you at least something to start the day.

If you wanted to push it, you could blend it and put a dollop of peanut butter or natural yoghurt and that would increase the protein and calories and it's easy to drink if you prefer drinking to eating first thing.

That sounds good in your circumstances. I used to be the same, the thought of food in the morning made me nauseous (stress/horrible time at work etc)
I used to choke down a cereal bar and drink a cup of sugary tea but it wasn’t fun.
