I'm going this afternoon so I just want to know your no 1 favourite thing to buy. Not just food items! Also not a whole list because I can't buy it all and want your absolute favourite thing from there. Sorry, my requirements are specific 😂

I'll go first:

Layered Mexican dip

The falafel is good.

ShakeYourFeathers · 17/12/2022 13:27

The bras and staples like cardigans

Maxifly · 17/12/2022 13:30

Softer butter, spreadable 100% butter.

shreddies · 17/12/2022 13:30

Cherry liquor chocolates

PestorPeston · 17/12/2022 13:31

A carton of chocolate hazelnut milk.

Can you pick one up for me? The two times I have visited one of their stores this year have resulted in anaphylaxis, as they love to pump lovely buttery bakery smells around the store.

Another M&S advert 🤣 at least John Lewis offered a £200 gift card when they asked us to do this

I'm a burnt out midwife, I bloody WISH I worked for M&S, it sounds dreamy!

I'm glad I asked! So many good ones.

Seen quite a few recs for the thermals and I totally agree, got 2 pairs of the leggings and 2
long sleeved tops and I'm never out of them! I love them, they wash really well and the materials nice and stretchy. I might get more because my house is absolutely freezing and they go under whatever I'm wearing.

Will def try the socks too.

Controversial perhaps but I do think the M&S Food is hugely overrated, there's nothing I couldn't do without. I do like their raspberry coulis (in the baking section) and enjoy ruining any health benefits of my greek yogurt with that from time to time.

The Butternut Squash Mezzelune is also very nice and something I regularly buy - it's in their pasta meal deal and I usually go for the pesto bread and a sauce that I use for a separate meal as the Mezzelune I find has enough taste on its own or with a bit of grated cheese.

Their Extremely Chocolately Sponge roll (the blue packet one) is quite literally the body of a Colin the Caterpillar, sans face and bits of sweets on top, so far cheaper if anyone craves a Colin but doesn't want to spend £10. It's £1.95.

Clothes wise the only thing I buy from M&S are thermal leggings and those are great, and I recently picked up some of their diffuser oil for my aromadiffuser and it's really nice for £3 and far cheaper than the likes of White Company.

Jeans

Merino fine knitwear

OrangePomander · 18/12/2022 22:40

At the moment it’s the thermals, but normally I’d say the salted mixed nuts in the blue tub.

Bichette · 18/12/2022 22:41

Another vote for the iced spiced buns 😋

BedTaker · 18/12/2022 22:44

Honey and BBQ wholegrain bites - literally might be the most delicious crisp/snack I have ever tasted!

Their anti-chafe shorts.

Honper · 18/12/2022 22:48

I really like a few of their perfumes. I've even bought a couple of the little bottles as extra gifts for people this year.

Yes!!! So nice

shreddies · 18/12/2022 22:56

Ooh yes iced spiced buns remind me of being pregnant. I'd always get them at the M&S in the hospital.

Honey roasted cashews <drools>

Have 2 thermal tank top style vests that are amazing. Have ordered 3 x thermal socks to collect this week.

familyissues12345 · 18/12/2022 23:20

The spiced ice buns. My absolute favourite but I have bad memories as they got me through DS's hospital admissions during chemo

DailyMaui · 18/12/2022 23:21

Their cheese pretzels.
I bought a lovely puffa coat a few months ago, green with orange detailing and it is so warm.
Their full size knickers.
Their luxury chocolates.
Their stretchy wide leg trousers - bargain at £17.
They have some stunning cookware in at the moment - fab yellow cast iron pots. Sadly I cannot justify getting them but I did swoon over them.
Their light up bottles of gin - make lovely presents. Aldi also have these.
