Is anyone buying anything for Christmas online that needs to be posted?

Having not had any post for nearly 2 weeks now, I can't risk buying anything that needs to be posted. I'm awaiting a number of parcels but not feeling positive that they will arrive in time.

I try to avoid buying from Amazon but at least the items will actually arrive.

We haven't had any post for ages. I ordered an adopt an animal present for my niece which will arrive as a letter, and was dispatched on 6th December. Absolutely no sign of it.
Popping into the sorting office isn't a bad idea but I'm not sure they would do anything without one of those "we tried to deliver your package" cards.

Also waiting for something from HMV but.not sure who they use for delivery

Is it an actual Prime delivery or just free delivery because you have a Prime account?

They're different - Prime deliveries are fulfilled by Amazon but if you order from a small retailer via Amazon Marketplace then you're at the mercy of whatever carrier they choose.

Yes. Absolute cheeky fuckers are buying my items online, which includes free second class delivery and the option for upgrades.

Then they message me after asking for the more expensive services for free!
