Is there a secret to a smear free finish. Mine really need doing but they never look any good after I've wasted half a day on it

Vinegar or windolene and scrunched up newspaper. Works every time.

Microfibre + any window cleaner, use an ‘S’ pattern. Ecloth to buff, S shape also, that’s the important bit imo.

This and a Karcher. It took me a few goes to get to grips with the Karcher spray. You need to be generous with the spray bottle before wiping the window with the pad otherwise it streaks.

Loving this thread. I'm so sad 😂 How do you all wash your e cloths? I tried them for the first time a few weeks ago and they are amazing but not sure how to wash them if I shouldn't chuck them in the washing machine with fabric softener.

PennyJosephineMercury · 16/12/2022 09:05

Just wash it without fabric conditioner. I don’t use fabric conditioner at all but that’s a whole other thread lol.

Karcher window vac, life changing.

I've just done mine.
Any old window cleaner (this one is CIF) Rinse it off with a microfiber cloth and use the squeegee thingy straightaway.
(In fairness, you don't even need the product. Water or water and vinegar does exactly the same job)
