Threadworms and thumb sucking

Hello everyone,
I think my daughter (just turned 2) has threadworms. I initially thought she had a UTI as the last few nights she's been holding her pee but last night she woke up crying, she's scratched herself red raw around her anus and vagina, her nappies were hurting her and she just keeps taking them off. We're bang smack in the middle of potty training too so it's come at a shit time!

I've kept her vest done up so try and stop the scratching. She seems okay during the day, but nighttime is a different ballgame. Changed her this morning and saw 3 or 4 of these in the photo attached.
Pharmacy have given us all a dose of medication to stop it. The issue is she constantly sucks her thumb. She's chronic with it. We are hand washing constantly and I don't want to make her hands sore as she already has a dry thumb from sucking on it! I don't want her to keep catching it from scratching and thumb sucking. I'm doing everything I can to stop her. I've tried gloves, nappy and clothes on. Shes only 2 so I'm unsure what else I can do but I'm very conscious of germs and bacteria spreading and then going in her mouth. As that's not very nice at all, and will harbour lots of nasty germs etc. (sorry in advance for the chopped nails, they've seen better days)

Where do we go from here? We've never had this before. I've put her bedding and ours in for a wash. Im going to thoroughly clean our living area and her bedroom.

Any tips would be helpful, thank you!

yep, worms.
very, very common.
very easy to treat easier than head lice, one tablet from the chemist folliwed by another in 2 week's time.

treat the whole family.

you did the right thing washing the bedding. also wash soft toys.
keep her fingernails short and wash hands often.

good luck!
