Impossible gift from FC - a parasaurolophus costume

My 3yo is obsessed with parasaurolophus dinosaurs. She's has now said she wants a parasaurolophus costume for Christmas.

I can't find one anywhere, so I thought I'd see if the great hive mind of Mumsnet can help.

She's had a horrendous year, and so I want to do whatever I can to fulfill this request.

Your daughter sounds great. My 3 year old DD is also Dino obsessed, but is partial to sauropods, a bit easier to source!

I did a search in the natural history museum shop but only found 3 Dino costumes, none quite what you're looking for.

I'm assuming you've already seen this, but on the off chance you hadn't...

This is bringing back memories of needing to find a remote controlled spinosaurus for my 4 year old many years ago. I did it but it was hard work finding one. He doesn't like dinosaurs anymore 😭

I think for shape and colour I'd buy this one, trim the spines and add a crest. It would be a simple hand sew and all soft, rather than glueing foam or anything.
