How many kWH of gas have you used today?

For context:

Outside it's 1 C. Guess it was quite cold last night.
Small flat, and about 11 - 12 C in the flat over night.
Cavity wall insulation, single glazing with secondary glazing

So it started from 12 C and it's now about 18 C

Used about 40 kWH so far.

I don't know if that's a lot or not. Boiler is quite old so not sure how efficient it is.

About £4 on the svr, I think.

We have our heating turned off overnight.
Our daily usage is about 25kwh. We have the hot water on 3 times a day, total about 3 1/2 hours, central heating on in the evening for about 1 1/2 hours, that's the norm. We have the grandchildren here so we've put the heating on for longer for them but I'm boiling!
3 bed semi, well insulated, cavity wall insulation, double glazed. 2 adults here, windows upstairs constantly on the night vent.
