I’ve taken today off work, getting on with wrapping some Christmas presents and then the tree will go up tomorrow.

Likely to have a pretty chilled weekend all in all!

Off to a Christmas market tomorrow with a friend. I'm single and have a teen DC who doesn't want to spend much time with me nowadays! But we usually watch a film or something on Sundays together.

Christmas meal tonight with local baby mums at a pub. Tomorrow is my baby's first birthday party😭😭. She turns 1 on Tuesday 😫😫. Also getting ready for work on Monday for the first time in a year due to maternity leave!

Weekend away with the family.
Bracing beach walks, fish and chips, family games and a cheeky wine or 2.

I start work at 9am Saturday and finish at 10pm Sunday.

I love my job and most of my colleagues so it’s all good.

We’re planning on having a bit of a spa weekend with facemasks and stuff and we’re turning a shopping trolley into a sleigh.

I really can’t complain.

Not much actually. I will probably go for a swim and walk the dog on Saturday. Ds has football training.

Dd has gcse mocks starting next week so Sunday will be sitting down with her and a stack of flash cards.

Nip into town to pick up a couple of things from the haberdashery. Some meal prep for the week. Reading and some sewing projects.

Pretty chilled, just mooching at home really.
I live alone and I'm single so only me to cater for.
I'm making lists of what I need to do next week as I'm heading to friends on the 19th for a couple of weeks.
Sunday night I'm seeing Scouting for girls so I'm excited about that.

I live abroad where it’s cooooooold right now. Tonight is pizza and cocktails with DD, two of her friends and their mums. Really lovely local pizzeria with a coal fired oven and the best tiramisu!

Tomorrow is extra maths lessons for the DC after a two-hour sandwich-making drive for our homeless shelter. World Cup viewing, a high school musical late afternoon/early evening for DD and a fancy “festive dinner and drinks” for DH and me before a fundraising ball at 10pm. I think we’ll skip the fundraiser (I’ve already donated online).

Sunday will be more World Cup, then DH taking DC to his parents for the afternoon to pick up a folding table we will need for some entertaining in a few days. I’ll spend the time wrapping presents and eating mince pies!

Love this time of year.
