If I like Rubik’s cubes and similar tactile games and puzzles, what else would I like?

Budget anything from a few pounds (I may buy a few) or up to £25. I am an adult, not a child, btw!

Thank you in advance, all suggestions welcome.

I love a maze ball. And a puzzle snake is currently in my pending basket on Amazon!

I have clearly found my people.

Have a look at Smart Games if you haven't already. Lots to choose from on there.

ChristmasCakeAndStilton · 04/12/2022 20:02

Shashibo cube or similar for tactile.

Hive or blocus games for logic.

Dodecahedron rubix style cube for a challenge.

We went in this toy shop over the summer and they had lots of great puzzle games. (If you look on the picture on the web site they are on the table).

We already had one of these which we love.... www.whirligigtoys.co.uk/shop/iq-six/
There are others in that series.

The YouTube channel lockpickingcuber has recommendations and reviews for this sort of thing

Look at the Think Fun! games on Amazon they have some aimed at older ages.

Also puzzles, not jigsaw but physical ones you have to manipulate, DD loves them.

This one is good (ignore the age range!):

StandardLampski · 05/12/2022 13:15

30 cubed is good.

Less portable though and I find I really need good light to distinguish the colours s

Going to looking out for later!

Huzzle cast metal puzzles are a big hit here. Really nice weight to these they feel nice and solid as you twist and turn to solve them. Price on Amazon varies so we tend to pick up whichever is on offer.

Lock picking set has also been popular.

For little fidget/sensory type things, we like these. www.amazon.co.uk/Bike-Chain-Fidget-Toys-Set/dp/B0B689GNV1
