Good morning all! What's everyone up to today?

I'm just drinking my first cuppa of the day. Unfortunately, the washer's on already as we're off out so I wanted to get it done, and it sounds like it's about to take off!

We're off to an artisan market, at a local shopping outlet, for a wander. Then a stomp round the lake with a coffee, if it doesn't rain. Maybe coming back through town to nip in Poundland, but maybe not.

The girls dad is going to put up ceiling decorations while we're out so we're not reaching over the tree like every other year.

Dd1's cooking something chickeny, with rice, when we get in & I'll finish my peg people Nativity scene ready to varnish. Hopefully dd2 might be persuaded to make paper chains to put up in the kitchen 🤔 More likely she'll Minecraft with her friend in The Netherlands.

Tonight, my mission is to complete the spikes of the crochet dino I've been making. I'm not enjoying them at all but he's sooooo close to finished!

That’s bloody impressive @2catsandhappy! I’m thinking some form of sausage casserole, have checked some recipes and have bits of a few different ones but not a one whole one, thinking im just gonna chuck a load of stuff in, text DH to see if he can get some dumpling mix on his way home from work and see what happens.

That’s a lot to go through at a young age @imtoooldforthisshite , take care of yourself. I was 35 when she died (cancer, not covid) and I lost my dad when I was 18 as well. Generally I’m fine and can think of my memories quite happily but today it’s a bit tougher, probably a combination of everything else thats going on. However, unlike last year I haven’t had a complete emotional breakdown at work so suppose that’s a win.

Also need to pop to the parcel shop to drop off some parcels.

Takeaway for tea just a cheap one probably sausage and chips all round, and a well deserved large white wine I think!

Staying with family and had a lazy start to the day. Lie in, then cups of tea and bacon sandwiches. Had a shower and now we are going out to a Christmas market. This evening we are having a buffet.

I'm just waiting for a Tesco delivery.
Had a week full of appointments, so am a bit tired, nothing else planned!

Had a couple of days with old friend who lives in East London, walked along the canal to The Breakfast Club and had a really delicious fry up ( but posh!) Walked a bit more around Olympic Park and then back to hers, cup of tea and now on train back to Kent, enjoyed the break as managed to get into Soho and see the lights and to an exhibition in Docklands so all in all a good time. Back to reality now...
