I've always had the heating come on at 18 degrees in winter, and have had it at 18 - 20 in the house generally at this time of year (small Victorian 2-up/2-down cottage), but obviously this year that's not financially possible, but I'm surprised at how okay it's been so far.
I work from home, am using a heated throw (this makes ALL the difference) or hot water bottle, but downstairs is about 14 - 15 degrees during the day, upstairs cooler, and it's been fine. We're lucky enough to have a woodburning stove for the evenings.
I'm drying the windows upstairs and the bathroom walls with a towel most day though. Definitely more condensation than before. I have a dehumidifier which I've lent to someone for this week, but will have back next week.
Anyone else tentatively okay with a lot less heating so far?
(I'm in the South East, btw. I don't think the house has ever dropped below 9 - 10 degrees inside.)
