I have been diagnosed with stress and anxiety and also vasavalgal and SVT, my bp has been high the few weeks and had gp appointment on Thurs who have increased my propanalol, but last few weeks have also been having these feelings of numbness in both arms and then a tight chest, forgot to mention it on Thursday with gp and don’t want to bother them again. The stress has been due to last few years of nasty divorce, having a teen dd, my dad being diagnosed with leukaemia in March 2020, and him having chemo, bone marrow transplant etc and being given the all clear to him getting covid and not having the strength to fight it, he passed away sept 2021, aged 69, I carried on working in my job as a hca all through this and looking after covid residents. Hence why gp said it’s been stress, but now I have these feelings in my arms and chest so not sure if it’s stress related or like anxiety/panic attacks.

I don't think you should be worried about bothering your GP again - or, since it's Sunday, you may be better speaking to 111. Chest pain can be serious. You seem to have quite a complex medical history and a lot of stress in your life at the moment; you need the advice of a professional, not an internet diagnosis Flowers.

You’ve had a lot going on and I’m so sorry. I hope you’ve had someone to speak to about it all. Stress can cause a lot of physical symptoms but if you’re worried then please speak to your GP as nobody here can know if it’s related to stress or something else.
