Childrens' 'build boxes' (like Kiwi box) - alternatives?

I really love the idea of 'build boxes' for my 4 year old. Little (not plastic tat...) projects that she can build with the help of an adult, along the lines of the subscription Kiwi Boxes. Can anyone recommend a business that makes a range of them in the UK? Subscription is probably a step too far right now, but I know she'd love a couple of these fir Christmas.

There's ToucanBox. They offer a subscription service but also sell individual crafts.

Or you could also try Baker Ross. They don't sell boxes, but they have lots of craft activities with all the bits you need to make them.

Thanks - I'm not really thinking of craft activities though - more early engineering! She loves building things - like a 'mechanical' robot or a marble run, stuff along those lines? She's not really artistically inclined....

I’m also interested. We got the kiwi boxes for a while (koala, atlas etc, a variety from the kiwi co). They’re good. But too much plastic for me. Toucan is even worse plastic wise, and not as good quality makes. Maybe try MEL science? But I’d like engineery stuff too if anyone knows.
