My double glazing is bloody drafty!

You'd think it'd be great wouldn't you, but no. I see now the frames have been put under slight pressure during fixing so the sides aren't perfectly straight. But nothing you'd notice immediately. Tomorrow I'll try & see if I can stick some insulation tape down the edges. My old single-glazing that was nailed & painted shut was less drafty.

Maybe ask someone to come round and look at them? My dad worked in double glazing before he retired a few years ago, he’s said windows are more or less all the same (not a big variation in the quality between brands really) it’s the fitting that makes all the difference…. And most fitters are self employed then paid per job so don’t always do the best job as speed is important to them. Our windows are a ‘brand’ but were fitted badly (previous house owners had them installed) so used to have drafts/whistle… Dad rolled his sleeves up and fixed the issue.

That makes sense about the fitting rather than the window quality. Mine took two days to fit, my next door neighbours took half a day. I'm sure you will be able get someone to fix the issue without the expense of replacing.
