Covid toes - the gift that keeps on giving

Does anyone else suffer with this?
Since having covid in November 2020, each winter, and every time I have a covid jab, and any time my feet get cold, I get the return of the dreaded covid toes! I know it’s basically chilblains but why??? Today the little toe on my left foot is itching so terribly, I could scratch it til it bleeds. I have my big Woolly socks on, my feet are warm. The first time this happened was when I caught covid.

I also get what my children affectionately call ‘the dead finger’ which is (I think) a mild case of Raynauds. The ring finger and index finger on my left hand and index on my right go completely ice cold like a frozen chip and sometimes take 2+ hours to thaw. Again, since covid only.

i appreciate I am very lucky that this is the only legacy of the virus for me, but it’s painful and annoying! Anyone else? Any tips?

Yup, I’ve got covid toe on both feet and also get it on my hands. You can watch them suddenly go purple / blue and then go normal again. Massive pain in the arse, and my Dr now thinks it’s could be heading towards Reynauds.

theres a load of helpful info / threads on twitter, but basically keeping them warm / don’t let get cold is key (stating the obvious I know!) I wear wool socks and slippers with a decent cork sole in the house which has meant no more chilblain type symptoms

Nothing useful to add but it sounds unpleasant OP.
