I lost my streak on INANE 5 days ago (current streak of 4), was the only one that day but several lost theirs the next day - can’t remember what that word was, maybe BAKER?

I lost on inane as well. I think you are right about baker.

Correction. I have a streak of 6 but it was definitely inane.

@NoNameNowAgain if you have a streak of 6 and I have a streak of 4 but we both lost on INANE then you must have had it 2 days before me - this is very weird! 🤦‍♀️

I had a streak of 33 til it reset randomly yesterday. I’m still outraged.

@NoNameNowAgain handily we posted right next to each other! This was the day I had INANE, and you got something in 3 (I was jealous!🤭)

And it’s not the first time it’s done me a random reset. I’ve created an account now to see if that stops it doing it.

I’ve read that the NYT is changing from a random list to a curated list, and that’s why people are getting different words.

The list of previous words used doesn’t include VAULT though, so that website must be getting the same set of words that I get (including INANE, MUMMY, BAKER, PINEY, GLYPH etc).

The answer was "fault" just after the Queen's funeral and I remember trying "vault" the line before. Lots of people had the same pattern and I remember thinking we'd all had "vault" at the front if our minds having watched the funeral.

@NoNameNowAgain maybe I’m actually going mad and it was SNARL I lost my streak on? Did you say you had that then? Looking at my pattern that would probably make more sense as I think I tried shark, swarm, scary and something else that I can’t remember
