Disney on ice

Thinking of taking my 7 year old to Disney on ice for the first time as a mummy daughter Christmas treat. Never been before (especially not by myself) and bit nervous about spending the money hence me checking with you all first!

Has anyone taken their 7 year old before? Just checking we haven't missed the boat and it should be more for 4 year olds?

We are looking at section N9 row R at Wembley OXO and again never been but it looks quite high - can anyone say if that's an okay seat for a little one to be able to see well enough? Or should I wait till next time when I can get closer seats? Any tips gratefully received!

I can't comment on those seats/stadium but we have taken both DD to watch and they loved it. Eldest DD is 7 and she's been once before and really enjoyed it again.

Aw lovely I'm pleased she enjoyed it! How were your seats when you went, is there quite good visibility generally? Did she mainly watch a big screen or try and see them skating about?

Not been to Disney one or even Wembley but we have been going to ice pantos every year at an ice-rink and love them, it has become a tradition in fact. I can imagine a Disney show would be much more impressive and definitely a festive winter treat. I know a family who have been in the past and very much enjoyed it.

Have a look at utube, there are some clips of Disney ice shows on there and it's all delightful.

Disney on Ice is fantastic, we’ve been several times. Pretty decent visibility everywhere but you’ll get the best from the scenes with anything to the right side of the seating plan above, so facing the stage straight on.

Oo that's interesting to know as there are also E2 seats available but when I selected best available it suggested the N row so I presumed to the side may be better than face on.... ahh decisions!

There wasn't a big screen, visibility is excellent, the ice rink is huge so you can get an excellent view from all around.

The merchandise inside is VV expensive, £30 for a flashing light wand. We went outside and the non-official ones are a fiver!! I'm just mentioning this as we were very shocked. I knew they'd be pricey but not that pricey.

We've just returned from Disney on Ice and it was fantastic. Second what a poster said above though about merchandise being horrifically expensive and difficult to avoid (venders everywhere as soon as you enter the venue.) We were glad we took snacks too as the popcorn was £12 and ice cones £15...
The show itself was magical though and we would absolutely go again. Cannot comment on your particular venue, but we had side view seats and our view was great.

Thank you so much for your replies.

How has this show compared to frozen at the theatre for anyone who has done both? If you could only go to one which would you do? xx
