Since when do we ‘share’ children?

I was just reading an article talking about a man. It said that he ‘shares an 3 year old son and 2 year old twins with his wife’. I assumed that it meant they had separated. But it didn’t seem that way.

It struck me as an odd way of phrasing that a married couple had children together.

I’m not offended by the word ‘share’. I find it an odd choice. At no point in this thread have I said who the article was about or what it was about.
If you are unable to separate emotions from simple word choice then your life must be very hard. I suggest you step away from the thread to avoid further upset.
