Anyone else in a weird funk atm?

I'm in this weird mood. I have been for a good month. I can't shake it off or snap out of it. It's affecting my every day life. Nothing seems to satisfy my craving to cure the boredom of everyday life. I think I could go on the most amazing two week holiday and it still wouldn't be enough to satisfy this funk I'm in.

Yep.
I deal with the stresses and strains of life by taking off in the van on my child free weekends- finding a cheap campsite, having a fire and going on massive hikes.

But it's not a proper camper and doesn't have heating, so not suitable for year round camping. I tried going up to Dartmoor and staying in a hostel last weekend, but it was less enjoyable for more money, and my massive hike got curtailed by it getting dark at 4.30 🙄.

Yup. Spiralling at the moment.

ellabellaaaa · 13/11/2022 23:31

Yep, same here.

Serious case of cba and nothing seems to shift it. Christmas is usually something I look forward to but this year it's just another thing to deal with. Sigh.

Yep, me. Feel stuck in a rut at work but keep just missing out on jobs I apply for. It’s soooo hard to have any motivation

I love the sound of this.
I've also just started hiking.
The camp site and fire sounds awesome

I’m the same, it’s definitely not the clocks or the wether for me, I’ve been feeling a bit meh for a few months! I have cancelled plans, cancelled Xmas gift giving, cancelled different appointments and making no future plans or holidays just so I can fester on the sofa! I’m always very sociable and up for anything but this last few months everything in life seems too much trouble, hassle and hard work!

Shortkiwi · 13/11/2022 23:54

Same here. Not moved off the sofa today. Sunny outside but couldn’t be bothered moving. Dragged myself to a family party last night, felt flat there, wasn’t engaged generally. Tearful today for no reason, feel emotional about my parents, husband, grown up kids and they’re all fine. Welling up at trivial stuff on tv today. Can’t stand winter and it getting dark so early.

If you feel like this make sure you take Vit D .. in a high dose! Better you do a good simple spray

Part of me has felt this way since Covid 2020, particularly work. I lost a parent and a good friend to Covid during 2020. Still haven't got my mojo back.
