If you're single and childfree/have grown up children, how do you spend your weekends?

I had my DC young, when I was 18. I've been single pretty much all his life, through choice as I don't want a relationship. It's been fine as I've been busy raising a child, and I am completely happy being single.

Weekends are starting to become a bit dull though as DS grows up! He'll be 15 in February and obviously now prefers spending weekends with his mates rather than me. I have lots of friends and do meet up with them sometimes, but most of them are in relationships and want to spend time with their partners at weekends which is understandable. Also due to our ages most of them are only just starting families or thinking about starting families so we're at different life stages, I have a lot more freedom than they do.

I'm turning 33 at the end of the month, I'm not quite ready to get the knitting needles out yet. I'd like to think about doing a bit of travel in a few years when DC goes to uni but we're not quite there yet.

I don't have any hobbies to speak of!

What do you all do on weekends?

Married but child free. Both work full time so about half day for household stuff, food shop, cleaning, laundry. Then exercise - park run, tennis or a cycle. Probably eat out at least once. Often do stuff separately, eg he plays golf, I like art exhibitions, theatre (sometimes on my own, sometimes friend). I am doing a wine qualification so some studying. Probably go away every other weekend, to see family or friends as most live a distance from us (again a mix of together and separate). I also do some watercolours. About to move house so currently clearing out!

Working, seeing family and friends, going out eg theatre or cinema, lunch or dinner. There are a thousand things you could do.
Go for a walk? I don't have hobbies but never short of things to do.
