I'm talking a mega big win, not just a bit of money.

I like this one.

I would get some solar panels put in the field though!

There's none in my area that I would particularly like so I'd get the perfect house built. Must-haves would be a games room with a pool table, large kitchen with plenty of storage space, a separate guest house in the garden for when my parents visit, electric sauna in the house and a wood sauna in the garden (by the lakeside of course, with a swimming jetty to jump in the lake to cool down/ice swim in winter) and a grillikota (wooden teepee-shaped bbq hut with an open fire)

Highgate cemetery house, not my taste at all, but they have excellent taste in dogs Wink

I love the Highgate one.

I love my house, I'd stay there BUT I'd hire an interior designer and a builder to come and finish off the interior and fill all the plaster cracks that came off the back of the hot weather.

Love the Highgate one … but £7 million and it’s still only semi detached 😮

BirmaBrite · 08/11/2022 12:18

This is rather lovely

No specific one but a double-fronted Georgian house with a sweeping driveway and selection of gardens, simultaneously rural and away from all neighbours yet also walkable to a small indie cinema, bakery and bookshop, on a beautiful street, with a back door that opens onto the Yorkshire Dales. With a swimming lake and an orchard. Plus a small, sun-warmed Italian stone courtyard.

And some change from a million too!

I would buy two.

A secluded small cosy log cabin or cottage.

A two, or at a push three, bedroom flat in the city that I live.

I would hate a big house.

I would hate a mansion. They are nice to walk around but not to live in.
My dream is a eco house with its own turbine and solar panels in a scandanivian forest and a modest terrace cottage in the UK.
