Helping a forgetful child

Hi everyone,

Dd is 8 and very forgetful in regards to leaving her stuff everywhere - at home, school, clubs etc. I have given her prompts such as putting everything into her school bag, but because school want things in certain places - eg shelf for waterbottle, tray for book folder , it doesn't always help.

I'm looking for something physical that she can have to remind her what she needs to think about that day. She goes to breakfast and afsterschool clubs which mean that I can't always send her back into class for forgetten bits, and it impacts on our routine for homework and music practice if she doesn't have the right bits.

I was thinking of something like a keyring that I can write on with a semi pwrmenant marker, or somehow attach different fobs for her different things, but wondered if anyone else had any brainwaves?

Thanks in advance!

A recording button? 'Have you remembered your sport kit?' etc. This sort of thing

The trick is somehow ensuring they play the message... Just like you can write that important event in your diary, but do you remember to open the diary and read it?
