Where can I get socks that won't wear through in a month or two?

Any recommendations?

I generally buy a multipack in the supermarket, say 5 pairs for £7. But in recent years, they've been wearing through on the ball of the foot or heel, sometimes in a matte of weeks.
Where do I need to go for better quality/longer lasting?

I don't think I've ever worn socks through,let alone in a month!
Are you wearing the correct size and thicker boot socks if you wear boots in the winter ?
I also wear mens and rotate them regularly.

Another vote for M&S socks.
My dad is wearing my son’s cast offs that he wore at primary school.
They are only just starting to wear out and DS is 21 now.
(DS had large feet for his age, now in size 12. Dad is only a size 8 so the primary age socks fitted him well)

Bamboo socks from Bam as loads of PP have said. DH got me a pack of them last Christmas and I've worn them nearly every day. Soft, cushioned but light. I love them.

I wear mens socks or hiking socks from a sport store (the ones that cost an arm and a leg, but so comfy). Even within the same brand womens socks are thinner and shorter than mens socks.

I second The Happy Sock company. They are very expensive, but worth it because they last for years. I only buy from the sale section online.

£9.99 for two pairs, I bought six pairs in total. Worn them on repeat for three years, they're as black and in tact as the day I bought them!
