Anyone with train information please?

So... I had resigned myself to getting the bus to work tomorrow. A 4 hour round journey and more expensive than by 25 minute train ride.
The strikes are off.... but a very limited service. I can see any info on Southern Railway or British rail. Is there any way of finding out about which trains might be running? Does anyone know if they might put on rail replacement buses now, for the trains that don't run? Does anyone know how limited the service will be??
If I can get the train then I will be back in time to take my kids to a fireworks display, so I've got everything crossed!

I wish I had a magic wand. Everything is saying severe disruption tomorrow and avoid. Employees are off the roster.

I think I am resigned to the bus...

I don't understand why there is still disruption if the strikes are called off? Officially striking workers should be on picket line and therefore able to switch back to planned roles.

@Playdoughcaterpillar that is exactly what I thought, in case the strike is called off.

The national rail app is claiming to show accurate journeys for tomorrow (and is showing different ones from what it was working yesterday when the strikes were still on).

Thingsthatgo · 04/11/2022 20:51

@Janek oh that's interesting. My app isn't showing any trains for tomorrow at all on my route. Guess that means there won't be any.

@Janek thanks for the heads up about the app. Unfortunately, my journey still says strikes and no trains until Sunday.

I have to go to the station to catch the bus, but would need to be on a bus two hours earlier than a train. Frustrating

This late in the process to call off strikes isn't as easy to return the service to normal. Signalling train planning would all have been planned in advance so if you have to add in more trains then it would need a hell lot of adjacent to the signalling, train paths, etc...
