As a child, did you see people that weren’t there?

We are watching a scary film and a child can see a man in the bedroom. DH is freaked out by this but I used to see a man in my bedroom all the time so I was kind of unphased. I used to see a shadow by the door, which walk slowly over and crouch next to the bed, then disappear. Very obviously my imagination.

I asked DH did he not imagine similar then? No, he says I am weirdo.

This is a standard fear, right?! I’m sure lots of people ‘saw’ this kind of thing as kids? Reassure me please 😂😳

I use to have the shadow of a man who stood in the corner of my bedroom. He wasn't there every night but I saw him frequently through out my childhood and early adulthood. When my sister stayed in my old room as an adult she saw it too. I think I would probably see it now but my parents sold the house.
